Book report #3

The bluest Eye--Toni Morrison

I have received a message of parents should take care of their children from the book the bluest Eye by Toni Morrison. Toni Morrison wrote this book for everyone in the world especially teenagers and parents. Toni Morrison tries to reach her message of taking care of children through this novel. This novel has successfully got the message across to teenagers and parents. I have received her message clearly that parents have to take care of their children. Pecola, the main character from the story, received no care from her father, Cholly, and received only a little love from her mother, Mrs. Breedlove, but soon it turned to be hated. It was very hard for Pecola to survive without love; it is hard for anyone in the world.

This novel has many good points. For example, it tells how a teenage girl suffered on a without-love family, the characterization method used by Toni Morrison in the novel has successfully captured my heart of how pitiful Pecola was. But, there is a bad point about my novel. Toni Morrison has not reach an exciting climax in the story. The book was not exciting at all. When I read till the ending of the story, the climax was so recessive that I had to read it for many times.

Toni Morrison wrote many novels, she is a Black American who loves to write. This book, The Bluest Eye was her first publishing book, and received a Nobel Literature Award. She is very successful in her writing career. Mostly, Toni Morrison writes stories about black people. Such as this novel, is the most successful novel she ever wrote. I would not recommend my friends to read this novel because almost all my friends do not like to read boring novels like this one, they like to read stories that are funnier and ones that are more exciting.

I think this novel helps me in my English language. I am not very good at English, so I like to learn more. Her novel has a lot of literary devices and elements that I learned from this novel. She used foreshadowing about a boy made fun of Pecola and said she was ugly and she wouldn't marry anyone. It had happened to Pecola. After all, I like this novel.
